Double Pedal Duo

For all of you double bass maniacs who don't know what kind of double bass pedal to get, this is the comparison for you! We compare two double bass pedals made by two very good companies, Tama and DW.

Tama Iron Cobra Rolling Glide

The Iron Cobra Rolling Glide, made by Tama, is a very smooth, fast, and durable double bass pedal. The Rolling Glide features a uniform round cam. The chain has fewer sprocket teeth and is a double chain. This gives the pedal smooth and quiet action. The double chain also results in excellent durability. The Iron Cobra Rolling Glide is the double bass pedal that I use. It amazes me every time that I play it how smooth and durable the pedal is. If you want a proffesional double bass pedal for a low affordable cost, the Iron Cobra Rolling Glide is the pedal for you.

The DW 7002pz double bass pedal is a very good pedal. First off, it's made by one of the best drum companies. It is a chain and sprocket pedal. It has steel plates, heavy-duty aluminum hinges, 3 position stroke adjustments, and much more. The left sid of the double bass pedal has a floating roter which results in exceptional smoothness and response. It also has a lot of adjustments that can be made to suit your needs and feels of a double bass pedal. The DW 7002oz double bass pedal is a very durable and adjustable pedal with a fairly low price tag on it.
